FH-Line TV trasmitter

The FH-Line TV transmitter was designed in the mid to late 60's.  It had a solid state exciter driven by crystal oscillators.  The aural exciter was conventional direct FM modulation while the visual had a rather unique RCA designed diode modulator.  The amplifier cabinet contained  three tubes .  Two in the visual, consisting of a visual predriver and a final while the aural had one final amplifier tube.  The first unit, a TT-50FH, was shipped in October 1971.  The last unit shipped out in February 1981.  127 TV stations throughout the world purchased FH-Line TV transmitters.  Due to the different configurations, this actually consisted of 192 transmitter sides.

Configurations of FH-Line transmitters are:

TT-17FH

TT-25FH

 TT-35FH

 TT50FH

 TT-75FH
